Lecture Diverticular disease and Diverticulitis

This presentation gives an overview about the diverticular disease with focus on diverticulitis. Typical symptoms, complications, the diagnosis and especially the classification of diverticular disease are discussed, considering current literature and the new published guidelines. Based on the classification of diverticular disease this presentation highlights the treatment options for each class in particular the conservative and surgical treatment.
