I was not a big fan of Normal People when I read it some years ago but ironically the chess bit made me intrigued for her new one.

I’m very excited to read Shy Creatures - one of my most anticipated reads of the year. Small Pleasures is one of my fave books of all time.😊 The Glassmaker is already out here in Australia which is a first! Looking forward to that one too.

I am looking forward to reading the new Sarah Moss too (I read all her previous books and loved them).
The new book in Jackson Brodie series by Kate Atkinson is almost here but I will wait for the library to buy it. 😊

Can't wait for Sarah Moss's new memoir. I'm a huge fan of her writing and have read everything she has published as well. I'm very interested in Tracy Chevalier new book, Eliza Clark's new short story collection sound amazing. I loved Katya Balen's previous three books, so I'm very much looking forward to Ghostlines. Cold weather cannot come soon enough for me :).

I’m really looking forward to Shy Creatures as I loved Small Pleasures. I’m with you on her previous books, none of them lived up to her last book. I’ve read a pre-release copy of The Glass Maker and was torn, the detailed writing which is typical of Chevalier is superb, but the time line didn’t work for me. I will be interested to hear what you think.

Have you ever done any cookbook reviews? Bangin Beans looks interesting, but I don't enjoy cooking AT ALL and need recipes that are simple, quick, and nutritious. I also find a lot of cookbooks seem to assume everyone has access to a Trader Joe's or Whole Foods (not sure what the UK equivalents are). Another issue for me and my small-town US options.
