Oh now we know why he hasn't covered AK yet.

He's allergic to it

Guys I think he hates arknights or is actively trying to run away from being consumed by the hivemind

Edit:I think I just started the Kazdel civilwar part 2

As a player who played the last one in the video (CN server), I do recommend lower your expectations.

Uma masume is sweet but it's not lewd at all. It's a game where you keep improving numbers, hitting a wall and getting bigger everytime you hit the wall but never breaking it down

Today I'm avoiding open world games precisely because of the lack of automatic content as well.

And when I played the Tribe Nine beta I went in without knowing anything and I was enjoying it and my disappointment when the gacha appeared out of nowhere was immense, the game is really difficult but in a way that I think it will be a problem for f2p players, because it seemed very unbalanced since the enemies seem like a damage sponge that can give you HK at any time
(It happened to me on the first boss of the game with the initial team before releasing the gacha, I died more than 10 times because of HK, besides that you can see the bodies of the players who faced the Boss before on the floor, and there was a pile of bodies)

Damn, i knew i recognized that voice. Its my favorite dead cells fam from ancient times. Glad to see you doing good. Haha never saw you doing gacha content

Umamusume is *partially* an idol game because after every round theres a performance. If your character wins they get to be the center for it
But it doesnt really affect gameplay that much so

AK Endfield is definitely my most anticipated. I already want it to be mid 2025 lol I'm interested to see the retrospective once the year is over and all these games have come out (hopefully).

i always wonder why there's so many companies scrambling to make open world action RPG gacha games. like, they take a ridiculous amount of time out of your day, definitely more than the average working adult can cover while maintaining the rest of their life. genshin released during covid where full workdays weren't a thing, but now there's so many open world gacha games and so little time for players to engage with them.
this became very apparent to me on the release of WuWa, which basically released with an uncapped daily productivity via the echo farming system. the result? if you wanted to keep up with the pace of the game, your expected to invest multiple hours each day, or otherwise entire weeks per cycle, on a gacha game of all things. we're at a point where, if your playing on mobile, there's a good chance you don't have enough battery life to complete your daily routine in one go.
the open world gacha game playerbase is incredibly finite, there are only so many people who are able to engage in the microtransaction elements while also having enough time to dump into the game, much less the 2-3 you'd be able to for other types of gachas.

My most anticipated right now are:

1. Chaos Zero Nightmare: this is the one gacha game that I expect to take a long term slot in the 2 to 4 games that I allow myself to play at a time. Cards are such a good way to design combat and character abilities, and the setting and story looks very intriguing. I am a bit worried about how deep they seem to be going on fan service though (not bad on its own, but can be a sign devs feel the need to put less effort into other parts of the game and feel like they can get away with more monetization).

2. Magia Exedra: I don’t trust it, but I want it to be good. Madoka Magica is one of my favorite franchises of all time (I have read almost every manga, in addition to watching both shows). If it is even just an average game that has the feel of PMMM, I’ll be happy.

3. Black Beacon: Diablo gameplay gacha with a Nier Automata art style. I’m in to give it a chance, though I don’t usually play action gacha.

4. Duet Night Abyss: if the gameplay is as good as the trailers, this could be the one that gets me both into action gacha and gacha on pc (instead of mobile).

5. Viridity Dreamland/Quilongchao: Viridity Dreamland interested me in 2d sides rolling gacha. Quilongchao from this video looks like it will be good competition. I will only end up sticking with one at most.

I had heard about most of these but not about chaos zero nightmare!! E7 never fully gripped me but I love the characters and art style, and StS/Darkest Dungeon combat REALLY appeals to me. Aaahhh can't wait!!!

goddamn you’ve caught my eye on #1, i love oriental aesthetic and they seem to have perfected it. idk if i can keep up with another open world (or even another gacha) but i will also be there d1 no matter what😭😭

if you like Chaos Nightmare Zero, try out Morimens, its translation is still machine translated, but understandable enough, the gameplay is Slay The Spire with Lovecraftian horror theme

Bro used footage of Black Beacon but didn't even put it on the honorable mention, that's sadge, since its the game I'm most excited for, a shame it won't have a PC client at release. And I'm also interested in Stella Sora and Dragon sword.

As a day 1 Uma Musume player, definetly one of the better simulation games I've played; even outside of gacha. The writing is very good (shockingly good sometimes) and all the events are voiced. The models are very high quality, with lots of great animations and the idol performances are great too (these are very skippable if you don't like them; in fact most of the idol stuff is pretty much only background that you can completely ignore; safe for some scenarios). Great for casual playing and definetly something I'd recommend checking out; that said, the daily grind/gameplay loop is genuinely terrible. Even when you know what you are doing it takes around 20+ minutes and there's no autoplay, so you have to manually mash through the scenario every day (WR for the first scenario is 7m30s, with no care for anything but just mashing the same buttons over and over), you end up with a mediocre horse and then you also have to do your daily races and such.
I'd be really surprised if it maintains a healthy playerbase in the west; without the close relation that japanese players have to horse races and gambling I don't think many people would have stuck around; it really doesn't respect your time.
People complain about genshin commissions yet I can probably do all hoyoverse dailies before finishing Uma dailies.

It also has PvP but it matches you with people around your strength so you never really match with whales (some events do), but you can easily just ignore PvP and focus on whatever you want.

i really didnt expect pseychie to have guilongchao as his number one anticipated gacha games to be released, but honestly im in the same boat..

guilongchao is one of those gacha games that gets me extremely hyped to play on release. the characters, art style, the worldbuilding (from what i know of), and the gameplay itself really has me interested, so im really hoping that it'll arrives on global as well!! (≧∇≦)!!
