High languages because they are built on top of other languages ... When you make program in Javascript or Ruby it is going to be translated C then translated in Assembly and finally translated in 1s and 0s ... So it is a stack of programming languages and more simple and human readable it gets it is because the complexities are abstracted away from you ...

This is an example of a stack of programming languages :
(6)HTML, CSS ...
(5)Js, Python frameworks ...
(4)Javascript, Python, Ruby etc ... Easy easy to read and learn, slow
(3)c++ / c# / java, easy to read, less technical than C fast but not as fast as C
(2)c, human readable but very technical and fast
(1)Assembly, still critic but possible to understand very fast
(0)Binary (0s and 1s) too hard !!! but the fastest thing

Ive hopped on and off ruby a couple times and stay away. No specific reason against the language but more or less because i just kept going from language to language. Which is when my dedication towards js finally began. Definiately an interesting language but Cant get on it just yet.

codeacademy is ok, but I prefer codeschool a little more. They are both pretty good starting playgrounds, then Udemy for advanced stuff ofcourse
