First of all they make noise on the wall because you don't put the noise killing rubber shoes on the outside units they are mounted directly to the metal bracket. I bet they don't came in a kit because the brackets are to short you are to close to the wall. Greetings from Germany

How did you seal the vents and weatherproof the space where the old air handler?

Thinking of mini splits but not sure if they would cover bathrooms and walk-in closet areas like the central air. Anybody knows the experience with areas like that?

I'm also thinking of retrofitting my home to mini split and am curious. Since you had a traditional system and already had traditional ducts; Why didn't you use a ducted mini-split heat pump with your existing traditional vents?

Just a observation. How much space do you have between the pioneer units and the wall of your house? They look a bit close on camera. If you end up moving them off the walls, you might want to move them a little farther from the house so they can suck air easier? Nice job on the installs, I know how much time this all takes as I have 3 unit on my house and shop, and a whole house heat pump unit in my house. Currently heating house and shop from all solar on sunny days.

So the inside unit is a central air evaporator not the one that came with the mini split? Didn't see all ur videos

nice set up, but putting 2 mini split heads right next to each other is a waste of money IMHO.
