Concrete Patch V: How to Repair Damage Due to Slab Leakage Waterproofing Problem

Ordinary concrete mix cannot repair the concrete spalling on your ceiling. Aside from its lack of strength, an ordinary concrete mix can’t be used for overhead applications. Remember: the repair mortar should be stronger than the substrate.

Also, without non-sag properties or formworks, the repair mortar will just eventually drop on the ground. The tendency of ordinary concrete mixes to shrink also poses a big problem.

So, what should you do if your ceiling just suffered from concrete spalling?

First, you have to check the slab leakage or if there's a slab roof waterproofing problem.

Concrete Patch V is a cementitious, pre-packed repair mortar with shrinkage compensation properties. It can achieve up to 5800psi compressive strength at 28 days. It allows vertical and overhead application of a 40mm single-layer patch without using formworks.

Mmm that could be solution for the concrete resistance aspect but what about the steel for ductility of the structure or the posible waterproof necessary for the corrosion?
