This demonstration of Photoshop’s AI Generative Fill tool is technically arresting, but I am not convinced it is necessary, or an aid to an artist’s individual growth. I feel the same when viewing much of twenty-first century Hollywood film: there is novelty and “surface” spectacle to it, but it is invariably shallow and devoid of substance.

Creativity within the arts is about an artist’s use of imagination and acquired skill, not lazily opting for automated aesthetics randomly guessed by digital technology.

It is my understanding that when you use generative fill it is getting the images from Adobe Stock.

Very handy toll, but it’s 1 Megapixel only, so yeah you can’t replace it and give it to customer until he wants a snapshot size
