Spoon Theory - Mornings

Показать описание
What takes up the most spoons for you?
It can be useful to introduce your loved ones to the spoon theory so they can better understand what it’s like to live with a chronic illness.
This video depicts what my mornings used to look like. Although it took up even more energy, I would cry on my way to work because I was so depleted and couldn’t imagine how I could get through another day. Getting through the day required monumental effort.
I’m incredibly grateful to no longer have to plan my days out. I wake up, work out, take a shower, eat, clean up the kitchen, and then start work. I would never imagine that I’d be able to do all those activities back-to-back.
This is exactly why I’m so passionate about helping other spoonies regain their energy. Although other programs might require you to add more activities, the first thing we do when we work together is strip everything down to the essentials.
P.S. Credit for the Spoon Theory goes to Christine Miserandino
