I agree about seasons pack, it made sense with Sims 2 because they're probably still figuring out things as they went, but now that we're all the way at Sims 4 seasons should be part of the base game with holidays.

And island living should’ve been open world because everything is literally so close together and the loading screens are unnecessary also with discover university I think we should’ve been able to go to class with the sims instead of having them disappear into an abyss! And I think with every pack you should get on sale because they’re on sale so often never buy full price

I play on ps4 and these are the packs I have and my opinions:
1. Seasons: It’s a necessity but it should be included in the game. It honestly doesn’t add much but weather, which again should be in the game already …
2. Parenthood: If you’re a realistic player like myself and love families, this is the pack for you! There’s so much more interactions for little children and toddlers, but I do wish there was more.

Our game play is opposite 😂 I barely have used Get Famous or apartments but love playing with both Snowy Escape & Eco. Honestly most expansion & game packs feel like they’re maybe 75% done then called “ready”. Hope there are more refreshes & bug fixes to come! Love the commentary!!

It's so refreshing to hear someone rant about all the Sims shit that pisses me off too as a decade+ long simmer lmao. I think Sims 4 is beautiful but I hate how money hungry EA is and I'm worried about Sims 5 and whatever bs they're gonna pull with that. Anyway you got a new subscriber ty!!!

They also need a University EP refresh once High School years comes out and would’ve been nice to attend class and game events with your sims in the university expansion pack. That would’ve made gameplay way better.

I have all of the expansion packs too and have the exact opinions on these word for word. For the high school pack, I'm not crazy about the CAS but the hairs are actually cute. EA stepped up with the hairstyles in my opinion. I MAY get the high school pack full price if it delivers decently. All of my other EP I got on sale.

I find that my opinions almost never match others lol, but my peronal favorites for introducing new gameplay to base game are: Island Living, Snowy Escape and Cottage Living. Seasons is essential, and Get Together is all around great because the world is so big and beautiful, and the club system is extremely useful in every day gameplay. These would be my Top 5 picks. But at the end of the day none of them are worth 40$ and everyone should buy them on sale for 20$ especially because sales happen quite often.

I completely agree with you coming from someone who’s gonna be a sophomore this year in Highschool, there isn’t really anything good to make it an Expansion pack and I feel like EA thinks we are gonna buy it just because it’s just Highschool. I can go on a ranting page on what there missing but this is what I feel like the sims can at least add this. For starters where is the Sports and Competition. Like I want to play my teen and see them become an athlete. I want to see them win the sims version of States competition and win trophies. It only shows Football and Cheer. But what about Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, etc. Like Does the Sims team know that teens compete in sports other then football and cheer. They only emphasize on Prom, Highschool, and activities but no actual Sports. And Typically Homecoming is more for fall sports like Football. So they definitely need to add more Seasonal Sports. I only said my top concern and not the full list. EA can do so much better but they choose not to. They care more about profits over the player which is very sad.
