As a fellow lover of hoarding math books, it is an unreasonable pleasure to listen to you talk about various texts! Have you checked out any of the "Student Mathematical Library" books? They're published by the AMS, based on lecture notes for advanced undergrad courses taught at the Mathematics Advanced Study Semesters program at Penn State. There are over 90 volumes, all fairly self-contained texts on generally nonstandard topics, really cool collection of books! I'm currently enjoying volume 87 on Ramsey theory!

A first Course In Differential Equations by Dennis Zill is awesome, I'm using it in to learn DE and it's just amazing. It's very clear, easy to read, intuitive and if you're doing engeneering such as I am, it's probably one of if not the best.

I don't know if you know that book, but review of An Introduction to the Theory of Numbers by G. H. Hardy and E. M. Wright would be awesome (it's my favourite book).

I've got a differential equations book on the floor in the car. Whenever I have to wait for someone in the car, I do a tiny bit. I'm a bit disappointed by how much I've forgotten after doing a course in these a few years ago, but it's nice "switching on the lights" again. I think I get over what where the stumbling points more quickly, at least (although some of the very most basic of basic stuff has taken more waits in the car than I'd have expected. It's the "hard stuff" that's become easier, and the basics that have rusted away a bit. ).

Hello from India. One thing I don't understand about English and American writers is why don't they provide answers to all questions at the back of the book? That makes them pretty difficult for self study.

Here in India all authors provide complete answers. They are usually quite poorly written, though.

Thank you.
I use zill book. This is literally clearly for self learning.

You should do a review of Differential equations book by George F Simmons sometime. I found it to be a very good book personally.

An Introduction to Ordinary Differential Equations by Robinson is pretty good.

I really appreciate your video content. Is it possible to study mathematics at masters level even when i didn't read maths at undergraduate level?

Ordinary Differential Equations by Tenenbaum and Pollard is a very good book too...

For some weird reason, I lost or sold my DE textbook. And I say weird because I have most of my textbooks from college. Anyway, my calculus text has a chapter in the appendix on DEs. I've read through and studied it, and for my purposes, it's good enough. It even has a small discussion on Bessel functions which I know we didn't cover in my DE course. The thing is there are only a handful of DEs that even have analytical solutions. So in my opinion, it's not a very interesting branch of mathematics despite it's huge importance in engineering and the sciences.

Is there any other link that not Amazon, for the books? I won't pay a book to a company mistreating its employees.
