This is damn good information. About 2 years ago, I met with my financial advisor to have her provide me with the right insurance products and have them structured the right way so that they build cash value and fit within my budget. I did this for myself, my wife, and 2 kids. These policies ensured we were not underinsured and I feel all the better for having done this. Now, I will be working with her to set up trusts so that in the event something happens to me and my wife, the death benefits will be protected and disbursed per our instructions. But more importantly, we want some of the benefits to be utilized to build more wealth for them.
