Yeah, if you're a Scientologist, you don't get to learn all of the super-secret teachings until you've paid a ton of money. We non-Scientologists have to learn it by doing an internet search and reading for five minutes.

South Park saved my family from being recurited into Scientology in LA around the time this video was made. My Mom always said it'd be poison to my brain but it instead made me realize we were about to be scammed at their Headquarters.

My favorite part of that episode is the big flashing insert at the bottom of the screen that says *THIS IS WHAT SCIENTOLOGISTS ACTUALLY BELIEVE* or something like that lmao

Here we go again, now pay attention;

It is not about Faith.

It is not about Dogma.

It is not about Religion.

It is not about God, or Xenu, or anyone’s right to believe in them!

This is about a criminal organization’s ability to trample on human rights for a profit, an obscene, tax free profit.

In the episode, south park was like "this is what they actually believe"

And this is precisely why those who say "all religions are bad" or "Scientology is no different from any other religion" totally miss the point, and is exactly why the Church of Scientology gets away with the abuses it does.

“I’ve been involved with many cults, both as a follower and a leader. You have more fun as a follower. You make more money as a Leader, however...”

Trust me when I say you don't want to involve yourself in Scientology. It begins as an innocent looking free stress test and the promise of improving your personality (and they *will* use your wanting a girl as a selling point). Next, they start charging you for courses. Then they offer you a deal where if you join staff you receive discounts. After that, you find yourself working 80 hour work weeks with little pay. It then destroys you from there by separating you from family and loved ones.

When I was little I wanted to be a scientologist but only because I thought that it was a corporation that did scientific research, I grew out of wanting to do that and then south park hit.

THIS is perhaps the most concise and correct explanation of Scientology, evar! Cheers

To be accurate, this "secret" has been out since at least the early 1980s. possibly the mid 1970s, but the Church of Scientology had largely been successful in keeping dedicated members from it, until the Internet got going full-force, especially via smart phones access. South Park was the wide-spead coup de grace.

I’m so glad Jenna is out. I know that this was posted years ago but it doesn’t make it less amazing that she got out of a dangerous cult and is thriving.

The Xenu stuff was widely published on the internet a long time before the South Park episode.

If you have to flee or escape your church….you just may be in a cult😂😂

I researched S
cientology over 20 years ago in college so while SouthPark did put it out there the information has been accessible for at least 20 years. Pretty crazy stuff.

I remember my brother and i were so in disbelief when we watched the south park episode. We couldn't believe that it was real and that is what scientology was lol
