I put off the AR35 Ascension Quest for so long when I finally did it I skyrocketed to AR41 and World Level 5....my strongest characters are level 60-

I’ve had a lot of direction changes while playing this game and didn’t realize I should have been saving my resources along the way (mora, 3* & 4* artifacts, heroes wit, etc) and I’m AR 39 right now. I wish there were better ways to get resources. It makes it harder to play the game longer the higher level you get to.

EDIT: main reason why I’ve spent so many materials is because I’ve wanted to experiment with teams and characters to see what I like. It’s hard to get a feel for someone when they’re so low level. I’ve often leveled someone up to 50 and not use them anymore. This game can be brutal with resources and it sucks so much more in the late game.

In my opinion, it may be better to farm mora ley lines in AR 40 after fully upgrading the main team, and then farming artifacts at AR45, cuz it takes a lot of mora to level up those artifacts.

I held off the ascension temple for a while time, did it, and now I’m stuck at ar40 with level 60 and 50 characters who all need ascending ahaha ;-;

Just a new tip for those who suddenly went from any world level to world level 5 and are scared to farm:
In paimon menu there’s a option “ ❕” click that and u can lower world level meaning bosses and elites will have lower levels but ur drop rate will also get lower
It’s still good tho i’m ar40 but I made my world level 4 so I can lvl my characters up and ascend until then when you’re done you can revert back to world level 5

dont upgrade every character just focus in one character, as a f2p is the best way and once ur main dmg dealer is fully upgraded focus in the support characters

He didn't mention but its good to spend your resin mostly on mora ley lines pre-40 so you have a lot of cash to spend on all that upgrading

Well, another thing you can do from 40 to 45 is pre-farm the ascension materials, mora and exp to level 90 on your main DPS.
That way, you can focus exclusively in artifacts from 45 to 50.

Actually you don't need to level up your main dps to its max limit at AR 40 because a level 70 and a level 80 hero's stat isn't that different from each other. The weapon though, if you maximize your weapon, you may gain 50-100 more attack depending on what your weapon's sub stat. I'd suggest every player to maximize their weapons first before maximizing their hero's exp because the weapon's sub stat will upgrade every 5 levels.
