I pray they find a cure. It’s a paralyzing, all consuming condition. 38% of suffers considerable suicide. We need more funding for research. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

These comments have made me feel less alone dealing with IBS. Close to a decade I have felt alone in this almost as if it's a curse. Currently I'm changing my diet, the symptoms are up there even with eggs or rice. To everyone struggling, you are not alone. This is an opportunity to take care of yourself like you would to a child. Personally, it has taught me self-parenting.

Hi, just get 100g of cumin seeds and 150g of fennel seeds. Fry them on a pan without any oils for couple of minutes in very low flame and grind them together in order to make them a powder.
Before 10 minutes you are having a meal, drink one teaspoon of the prepared powder soaked in the hot water . (You can soak the powder for 1-2 hours before your meal.)
And also, you can keep the powder in a tight bottle stored in a cool dry place.

I have IBS. You don't cure it, you change your life and it gets better. You start working out and eating really healthy whole foods. You improve your mental health and outlook on life. I personally done those things and it helped. I haven't met a person who did those things and it didn't help him/her.

I have ibs and the worst part of it is is the excessive wiping, back in the day I could pop like a champ. Then one day it all changed and I’ll typically spend 30mins on the John. Pretty sure my poor lifestyle is to blame for this.

Then why would you title this permanent cure for IBS? Real low blow when there are many like me struggling desperate for relief.

I have suffered daily for over 10 years and can have been on the toilet for at worst 7 hours. 😢 Mix of C and D always slow but going in waves. Ribbon stools, loose stools and everything in between. I have tried every diet possible, pro biotics, hypotherapy, relaxation, meds. The doctor told me me recently sometimes when a condition has been going on for 10 years or more that we just have to learn and accept living with it. He said sometimes they don't know how to fix things as doctors and thats the truth is there is alot they dont know about the bowel. I suffer everyday with sever stomach pain, distention back and knee pain. I can't work, so my mrs goes to work and I stay home, helping with the house and kids where I can.
An average day for me is this, my alarm goes off at 7.30am, I go and have breakfast. Just a banana and a warm drink or water mostly. Take my meds. Barely finish and within minutes I get stomach cramp and massive urge to go. So I do and on average I dont get out the toilet and done until around mid day, between 12 and 2pm. I will then go and get some lunch. Usually soup or a sandwich, or on cold days in Scotland something with protein like chicken and vegetables. Not long after I will usually be back in the bathroom for at least a couple of hours. I am lucky if I am out in time to have dinner with my mrs and kids. Then in the evening after dinner I sometimes have to go back, sometimes it is a little better and I get between around 2 to 3 hours hours of spending time with my mrs and watching a film or playing a game or whatver. Then at 10.30pm I go upstairs exhaisted so badly and want to go to sleep. Thays when again I am on the toilet and I am lucky if I am done before 2 in the morning most nights. Sometimes later and trying to function and do it all again the next day is pure hell. I feel like a prisoner in my own body and this has eaten up my life. I miss out on time with my kids, and doing things as a family. I feel a failure as a man because I can't work or function anyhwere near normal. My mrs is amazing and so are my kids and very supportive. If it was not for them I dont know where I would be. I just wish this could be better. I have had bleeds regularly as well. They have checked everything thoroughly and had blood tests. Everything looks normal but one specialist said the back passage way was too tight, hence why things are so slow he reckoned. I can't get an offical diagnosis for what the condition is so can't claim disability which would help my family as I can't work. I have had enough. Still I wish everyone all the best and I know there are people who have it worse. At least I have a loving family. Not sleeping well is the worst and being woken from sleep. Last night I had three bouts of being in the bathroom.
