The thing about ERA is that you can't necessarily conclude how good or bad a pitcher is if he has a HIGH ERA . If a pitcher has a very low ERA, especially over a long period, you can reasonably conclude he's a damn good pitcher regardless of what else is going on with the rest of his team. In this case the ball is usually not even being fielded enough for it to matter whether or not they're that good.

There are so many stats unique to Baseball - I don’t mean to be super critical but I do wonder why you included stats that you admittedly don’t know much about, don’t understand, and are not willing to learn? Another comment suggested there’s a joke here so idk if I’m just missing something but if so it would be super cool to be enlightened :)
