FALLOUT 4 CRASH NO MORE!! how i stopped experiencing crashes in fallout 4

hello everyone and welcome to a Crash to Desktop Guide for Fallout 4, a game still mired with bugs, instability and optimization issues almost a decade after release, but also a game with unlimited potential through mods.

and so the problem of sudden crashes to desktop plagued my walkthroughs until i quit every time when my patience for this ran out.... until i found the mods i am showcasing here

unlike many other "CRASH FIX GUIDES" who place the blame on YOU for:
YOUR PCs supposed inability to handle the game
YOU daring to run the game on ULTRA DETAIL
YOU daring to use mods

i place the blame on Bethesda not delivering yet again on their promises and\or being either too lazy nor not at all caring about the state of the games the publish even a decade after release, WHICH IS WHY IM SO THANKFUL we have such a loyal and dedicated community for games like this that take the time to resolve issues THAT BETHESDEA SHOULD HAVE BUT WONT

To the people suddenly experience crashes of unknown origin:
Bethesda broke F4SE twice this month, your crashes might be due to using mods with a F4SE version that is incompatible with the current game version

All we can do at this point is wait for the dev of F4SE to update it again

Until then i did a video how to rollback the next gen update on steam, maybe this can also help

For people experiencing an infinite freeze screen, especially during combat: freeze fix! This little mod is a godsend!

Literally 5 hours in the vanilla game via gamepass pc. Crashes after about 5 minutes of play. Never experienced this before. Had to uninstall. Was enjoying it too. Thanks for the vid. But I’m not experienced enough to try to add mods to keep it going.

They don't like modding because it makes people happy staying in a game longer. The more time we spend in fo4 the least time we will spend buying new games from them. They don't just want our money once, but to keep selling us more stuff. If we get bored with fo4 we will look for something else. But if a mod stops us from moving on, and helps us stay in fo4 longer they don't get anymore money from us unless they produce more dlcs.

LonLoadingTimesFix leads CTD every one hour of gameplay and teleports, broke your savegame at more or less 6h of game, it makes too a bug that causes the textures stuck in very low resolution during gameplay.

This type of ctd will not be reported in buffout4 so it's hard to find where comes because the game simply close without ctd report.

I will try these, thanks for the help. I play on Xbox at the moment so these might not be available to me but worth a look. My main issue is the game crashes when I try to start the vault tec workshop dlc. Some say it’s in conflict with scrap everything but I’m not sure

for me it was turning off the weapon debris in the launcher or ini files. There is also a mod that let objects flying around after shooting the ground and with no crash to desktop drama ;-)

about UFO4P it need a lot of DLC that i don't have like Enclave Halloween and Makeshift. so can i still download it?

What are you using to record this? My issue is that the game crashes (PC) randomly when I record using Bandicam. So far, no solutions.

idk if u can help me but i downloaded mods on a different desktop for fallout and i went onto another desktop to play and redownloaded all of them i go into fallout 4 menu load the save and on the loading screen about 7 seconds later it just crashes i have a very good computer I don't know what's causing it i'm wondering if you could help it would be appreciated.

what environment mod you running? polluted climate or calamity climate?

Any fixes for when you fall or jump off anything screen goes white for a second, then comes back with no sound ? No mods installed

My game keeps crashing every time I try to do the "nuclear family" institute mission when the movie starts and my PC freezes. Could using these mods solve the problem?
