The United Kingdom has descended even further into dystopian censorship and is now even targeting people overseas who commit Speech Crimes. YouTuber Sydney Watson joins me on the Brad vs Everyone podcast to break down the insanity.

Then, I respond to a woke Washington Post journalist who tried to get the White House to censor Donald Trump and to a hilarious socialist TikToker's painfully bad anti-America song.

The British government has lost it's mind.

I cracked a huge smile when I saw the news story. I’d pay money to see the the London police commissioner actually try to officially extradite an American for a social media post.

As a British gay man being very much Center. The uk has lost its damn mind 🙄

Labour labelling anyone who doesn’t agree with their views as “far-right” is just starting to get tiring and very annoying.

Don’t agree with everything they say “you’re far-right”

Have a view on something slightly controversial “you’re far-right” and the worst part… the government does NOT care for the British citizens.

“Labour to ban fake news” basically meaning anything not left leaning, like our media already…. The news is very VERY left leaning already and they try to silence anything that goes against their narrative.

George Orwell, 1984 was his last lecture
George called 'em "thought police", now we call 'em fact-checkers

I'm a Brit and believe me, we are NOT in favour of any of this. Half of us don't even know what's going on. Those who do and aren't completely woke, feel impotent. We keep voting but because of our rotten system, votes don't translate into seats. I've read 1984, Brave New World and all the dystopias, and I'm really beginning to see glimpses of it. Sometimes I think free speech in the US can go too far (eg Westboro), but we sure could do with a bit of it here.

Australian now in the US. In 2020 I saw the writing on the wall and spent 2 years getting my greencard.
Americans have NO IDEA what it's like to not have the Constitutional rights they have.
What it's like to see your country turning into an authoritarian state with absolutely no means to stop it.
When all you can do is leave.
I love America. I have hope here.

I'm British and I am horrified at what is happening to this country. It's interesting to hear opinions from overseas because many UK citizens have become desensitized to what's going on here.

Hi Brad - as an Irish gay man and Irish patriot living 23 years in a socially deprived area of Labour controlled Manchester UK and with extended family still living in the same village in Rural Republic of Ireland where I grew up, I know that the Mayor of London Siddique Khan is of Labour and London has turned very woke - since Keir Starmer took office as Prime Minister, given the appointment of Simon Harris as Taoiseach in Dublin after Leo Varadkar stepped down, while I thought that the Irish government was insane, it’s almost as if the Irish and British governments are trying to outdo each other in oppressive policies - I’ve always held and renewed an Irish passport the entire time that I’ve lived here in the U.K. and I was alarmed to hear the other day that Irish Minister for justice Helen Mc Entee wants to withdraw Irish passports from anyone who is critical of Irish government policies, even though the Irish government are incredibly woke leftist and globalist serving traitors to the Irish people - this is relevant as both YouTube and all other big tech platforms are HQ’d in Ireland and are governed by Ireland’s “hate speech” laws and the U.K.’s “online safety” laws where people in Ireland can be arrested by the Gardai under the (amended during Covid) Irish public order and mental treatment act (as most of the corrupt traitor TD’s in Dáil Éireann have been very busy stripping away our freedoms) and when the Digital ID’s in the U.K. become mandatory on top of arrests for even viewing or sharing of social media posts, this will mean the end of free speech in the U.K. - both of our nations have a long and troubled history, including with each other and with the Northern Ireland Troubles before the Good Friday Agreement but the actions of our leaders today show them up for the criminals, gangsters and traitors to their own people they truly are and most of my Northern Irish, English, Welsh & Scottish friends feel the same way - frankly the only way to get rid of these globalist serving woke marxist, leftist traitors is a “Celtic Alliance” being put in power by the people of these nations involving the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man - former British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill (even though he never got along with our first Taoiseach Eamon De Valera) always despised and hated socialism with a passion and for very good reason, as we see today, as the common and shared enemies that we are facing today, despite appearances, are far greater than any of us have seen in recorded history

We live in a world where I'd Superman swooped in and saved a little girl from getting r worded from a certain religious group - the UK would call for his arrest because of racism.

I will never visit the UK again. Used to love to visit every few years. I'm afraid I'd say or do something that could land me in prison. No, thanks.

When you call out the overprotection of these special interest groups, their reply is always along the lines of ''you're just mad that you no longer have the power. You're losing your privilege'' which is basically you saying you would have been a nazi in WW2 because you're saying tyranny is ok if you benefit from it.

I think that as a US citizen, I am guaranteed protection under the First Amendment to the Constitution. If I lived in the UK or subject to UK law, then it might be a different story, but I think I would be within my rights as a US citizen to criticize the UK as others have done in the US without fear of the head of a cosmopolitan PD in the UK, or even the law that their Parliament might have enacted.
