I myself got a 7900 XTX Sapphire Reference yesterday from Ebuyer. I've heard the AIB's will have higher clocks, but I wanted to test my first AMD card and thought I'd take the plunge.

You made the right choice sapphire is the A tier AIB for amd just like evga was. There are fully dedicated to amd and made some of the best cooling inventions that now all coolers use.

Been seeing ppl hit 460w on the reference model on overwatch 2. The card "wants" to boost hard esp with the power slider on max. Looking forward to what you do with this thing in terms of oc/uv. It definitely has some oc/power potential for sure. Going to be keeping an eye on your channel to see the amd/patches and how your uploads reflect the 7900xtx as one of the best yt creators/flagship builds currently on yt. Saw an xfx hitting 500w w/ duel bios and keeping great temps at that in a stress test

Oh wow! This looks like a very detailed design for the cooler. I wonder how these little quirks like those special fans and those fins near the PCB will work out compared to other AIBs.
Their 6000 series coolers were good but nothing special but this looks like they might go beyond plus ultra this time.

That's the one I'll be getting in a few months. I hope you can show the power draw out of the box and how much performance can be gained after an UV and OC. I wouldn't want to run it at much than 300w anyway but I have a suspicion that there's a lot of performance to be gained with driver updates and OC. Should end up in line with what AMD promised.

You will have HUGE OC potential 3.2ghz on core and 2800mhz on memory are achivable even with undervolting
And please can you test Calisto Protocol RT against Nvidia

I've had an affinity for Sapphire since the time when they sent me a new 4890 as a replacement for a 3850 that died under warranty. That was awesome. They can be hard to find in Canada though.

The design reminds me of Radeon 7, also we can agree that even if its worse than 4090 performance wise aesthetically its the most beautiful card

Also if you search twitter about the issue of these cards, apparently they are revision A0 silicon but seen as C8 in GPUz which explains the sporadic performance

My first Sapphire GPU was (currently still is) the RX 5700 XT Sapphire Nitro+. I was very surprised at first regarding the basic box in which you get your GPU, however I figured that you don't need fancy packaging since the important thing is the quality of the GPU. So you don't pay any extra money for fancy packaging, like you do in most high-end models like ASUS ROG, Asrock Taichi, Gigabyte Aorus, etc. I was very impressed with the build quality of the 5700 XT, but it seems that it is even better here. Congrats, seems like a beast of a GPU.

Asus tuf can be set to 3200Mhz, I'm curious what game clock you can get after OC / UV. Sapphire is prettier so I keep my fingers crossed for it to be better ;)
