Traumatic Brain Injury (severe) survivor myself. Australia, about 40 years ago, when I was 34 years old.
Physically & emotionally, my brain, body, and emotions rapidly “aged”, 40 years ago. Life had to be lived as an 80 or 90-year-old man, even though my body was only 34 years old.
Increased dependency on people, routines, gadgets, medicines, etc. Much lower expectations on everything. It was very hard to adjust to the lower quality of abilities, lower expectations. Here in Australia, the government tends to only allow adults with a quarter of the normal ability to become full time invalids.
Hopefully this comment summarizes the video. Born dependent & less capable. Brain injury. So cannot meet adult behaviors. So now lower expectations, lower abilities, and more emotionally unsettled.
