LEARN HOW TO CLEAN A BURNT PAN IN SECONDS USING THE EASIEST NATURAL METHOD!

LAY HO MA! With over 200+ recipe episodes to date, I thought I'd share one of my most valuable kitchen hacks (if you will) that I use almost daily. This method is so incredibly easy and all you need is one natural ingredient - the humble baking soda. Join me in this episode and learn how to clean a burnt frying pan in seconds! Let's begin

Directions:
1. Soak your pan with hot water for a bit. This may loosen all the burnt bits as is, but if not move onto step 2
2. Dump out the water and sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda onto the frying pan
3. Use your hand and wipe out the burnt bits using the baking soda. Don't be afraid to apply some pressure
4. Wash and rinse with dish soap as normal

I love your kitchen, it’s always sparkling clean ! Love your cooking style and recipes . And love the fact you speak only as much is necessary so the whole attention goes to what you are saying and yes the background music too !! Thanks for this handy tip !!!

I've used baking soda for years. It's cheap and reasonably effective. However it won't work if things are really burned on (soaking in water or in vinegar may be required (vinegar in particular can remove things that seem almost impossible to get off with scrubbing, although it may take hours of soaking in it)). Also Barkeeper's Friend is a cleaning powder which is seemingly vegan and works a bit better than baking soda I believe. Although you can use your hand, this will be slightly less effective and a bit more rough on your hands in long term than using a scouring pad with either of these powders I think.

Personal favorite is boiling lemon water (along with the juiced lemon itself)! Smells nice and if you boil it long enough, no scrubbing :)

Flaming Nora(!), I now don't need to scrub a pan for Wales (after soaking it for so long I've had another birthday). And it's ecological and cheap. Brillo pads (which never need apply again).

Thank you Wil for the top tip.🌞🧡

Great tip .... thank you so much. I have these pans but rarely use them because of the cleaning. This method is easy. 😉👍

The only problem I have with a sparkling clean stainless steel pan is that it removes the patina that goes to provide a stick resistant surface. The more food is allowed to coat and penetrate the surface, the better it becomes 'seasoned' to provide the original non stick that many pans now provide with a chemical coating. Your choice; beautiful, shiny, and oil required, or stained, but no oil required. Always love baking soda as a cleaning agent. Thank you for showing this option.

When I saw this episode, I thought, no way Wil has ever burned a pan! Then, the words of my mother came rushing in, " even the best cook burns the soup". Thank you for the tip!
