Quickest potato bites recipe | crispy potato bites | Kids Lunch Box

Ingredients:

4 boiled potatoes
1 tsp salt (or as per your taste)
1 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp cornflour
Oil for frying
Instructions:

Start by boiling the potatoes until they are tender and cooked through. Once boiled, peel the skin off the potatoes and let them cool slightly.

In a large mixing bowl, grate the boiled potatoes using a grater or mash them well using a potato masher.

Add salt and black pepper to the grated potatoes and mix well to season the mixture.

Gradually add cornflour to the potato mixture and knead it until it forms a dough-like consistency. Make sure the cornflour is evenly distributed in the mixture.

Take a small portion of the potato dough and roll it into a cube shape using your hands. Repeat this process for the rest of the potato mixture.

Heat oil in a frying pan on high flame. Once the oil is hot, carefully drop the potato cubes into the hot oil and fry them until they turn golden brown and crispy on the outside. Fry in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.

Remove the fried potato bites from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Serve the crispy potato bites hot with your favorite dipping sauce or enjoy them as they are for a quick and delightful snack!
