The Backwoods Boys ran across an abandoned trapper cabin while exploring the Rocky Mountains this summer and spent some time exploring the craftsmanship that went into building this remote outpost cabin. Reminiscent of the dugout shack of the Mad Trapper of Rat River, the log cabin shares a lot of similarities with the historic cabins of the boreal forest on their own trapline, yet it is unique in several ways, making for a fascinating exploration tour. Those old boys knew what they were doing back in the day. Very nice find. You could probably get the cabin back up with a little work. It looks solid still.

Hey, how you been? Married life seems to be agreeing with you. Love these old cabins. I really regret giving up my rural property. My new long term dream is to build a cabin somewhere up north for recreational use. Merry Christmas to you guys and the family. Take care and thanks for the video.
