Abandoned Trappers Cabin

Here is an old trappers Cabin which I use to come to now and then back when I was living here in Labrador about 7 years ago. Since then it's been completely abandoned and vandalized and stolen from and left to the harsh northern elements. I love it because it's simple and reminds me of my dad's cabin from when I was a young boy. Plus it sits on a beautiful hilltop looking over the wild of Labrador. it's a memory maker for my family.

These cabins are a window to the past and need to be kept up so that the stories that are contained within them are told to a new generation. They are of historical significance, paying tribute to the men and women who built them, pinning hopes and dreams in a remote wilderness that has been the same for hundreds of years. Good to see the ramp is holding up. Me and my buddy fixed them it last fall and cleared out the view on the hill.

Man I would love to find a abandoned cabin in the woods to bring back to full use. To bad others have to vandalize place's like that. Can't wait to see it back to its former glory!
