You know you bring up an interesting point. I too fell prey to the “need” to graduate to a “more professional” daw and I recently had the experience of re-mixing a few tracks I created in mixcraft based on some new knowledge I have acquired via YouTube from various teachers such as yourself and what I realized is that it wasn’t necessary to switch or upgrade daws. I am humble enough to admit I did not fully know what I was doing! Real talk. But beginning in Late fall last year I made a commitment to truly learn and understand how to use eq, compression, parallel compression, limiter, auto tune, recording vocals and how to implement and add effects to drums and other instruments. Thanks to taking the time study my craft I have significantly improved as an audio engineer and producer. And as a result I agree with you Mixcraft 10 Pro Studio is an excellent daw yet underrated. Even though I do love Studio One+ I may cancel my subscription and resume my music production with mixcraft. I wanted to say thank you and hope this helps someone else.

hey man, as a self taught and def still learning, I can relate. I apreciate your involvement in helping us that do like Mixcraft. Been an Acoustica fan since Mp3 Mixer which I still use. I absolutely agree with using what you're comfortible with and that's why Mixcraft is my main go-to. It is basic, clean and straight forward. I am on a learning the basics of home recording journey now. So I will be following you for all the info I can absorb and hopefully share some day. Thanks Taylor

I started making beats on Mixcraft 7 back in 2016. It was the version where you could have a max of 16 tracks. Since then I've stayed with them and never changed my DAW. I currently use Mixcraft 9 Pro and have no desire to switch regardless if the "others" is "what all the big producers use". Mixcraft is definitely a gem and I feel people might realize that once they get to use it!

I've been using Mix Craft since Mixcraft 6, and I currently use Pro Studio 9. I agree so much with this because I feel I had slower progress with learning to use it on my own and with the few tutorial videos at my disposal.

Back then, I always wished I had switched to a more popular DAW, but I didn't have the money for it. Now, I am very familiar with it since my first time using it in 2014, and I can't see myself using any other.

There are still things I don't know how to do, and hopefully, I can learn from this channel. I'm glad I saw your video!

I used mix craft 7 & 8 back in the day and I used them for years and I’m very comfortable with them but due to flexibility issues with interfaces in MIDI’s I’m thinking about going with Mac for my new laptop is Mixcraft only available with windows?

Mixcraft for me is the easiest DAW around. I tryed about 8 or ten others, some of them always crashed or took to much time to get really into it. Kinda overloaded and confusing. Mixcraft is strait ahead and very logical to me. And with or without 3rd party Plugins you get the same results. The look and the workflow impressed me also.
After trying 2 weeks of Mixcraft 9 recording Studio I bought Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio two days ago.
¡Viva Mixcraft!

I have a question about Mixcraft. When I record clean DI guitar that never goes above lets say -12 db for instance. If I pan hard left that guitar is now -6 db. Is there a way to fix this issue where it will still stay -12? Other DAWs have a setting built in called Pan Law. Any ideas would be awesome!

Have you tried drum editing in Mixcraft? From what I can see that's its main limitation currently.
