I would be interested to know where you got the information about melatonin damaging eyesight. Everything I read said that melatonin had a positive impact on eyesight.

As a truck driver I have to take melatonin or I wouldn't get any sleep.

What about serotonin turning into melatonin ? Would that be harmful to the eyes ?
