Woodland Mansions are Bad, Here's How To Make Them Much Better

Minecraft Woodland Mansions are plain and simply not worth it. You travel potentially 10,000+ blocks to find a structure that is lootable only once, doesn't respawn anything, and isn't even that cool when compared to some of the other, much more common, structures. In this video we take a look at one of the best woodland mansion datapacks out there.

It would be cool to get some unique trophies from mansions, kinda like dragon head from the end ships. I remember, back in the days, the only way to get mossy cobblestone by finding the dungeon. So you would go explore the world to get it.

There should be better rewards in my opinion. The loot should be allmost as good as in End Cities and it should have many more unique items.

at a minimum, it would be nice if there was a way to 'mark' a woodland mansion as explored the way you can with buried treasure so your next map would point to a new one even if it was another 15, 000 past the first.

I have an update idea for minecraft. Please make a video about this.
So. How about you can join either good side or bad side in minecraft. Means, right now, there are only village raids. where you take villagers side and defend the village.

Imagine you can have a choice about which side to join. you can join the pillager sides and they will give you a village map and you have to raid it and kill the villagers. The village will be filled with iron golems so it will be difficult. After you raid a village, the raider will give you unique items.


The way it will work is, when a pillager patrol comes, they will not attack you. instead they will offer you to raid the village. If you accept then they will give you village maps. If you don't accept, they will attack you and if you kill them, you get bad omen.

Minecraft is a free minded game. So it would be cool if you can join the bad guys too instead of the good guys.

It needs to have some type of rare mob spawn. Having nicer looking rooms isn’t enough. There needs to be a reason to go back to it.

Maybe revamping it similarly like Herobrine Mansion. Also, a captured villagers with a rlly good trading (that'll be a cool mechanics if you decided to lived in the mansion.

This doesn’t really make them better tho. You talked about how there is not enough loot and there is no point to go so far to find one but this doesn’t make it any better just because of better decorations

so, I realize this is an older video now, but I felt like I needed to look up info on these mansions because when I started a solo world with 1.18, I spawned in a dark forest with a mansion literally within view. I spawned on a coast right next to a shipwreck. there was also a mushroom fields island beyond the shipwreck. it was the craziest spawn I've ever seen, and since it was raining a lot, it was very atmospheric, very moody, almost like I'd been shipwrecked in a storm near this mysterious mansion. I was honestly glad to hear the mobs don't respawn though, because I intend on cleaning out the mansion and making it my base!

I spawned right across from a woodland mansion and 3 villages with a pillage tower in between 2 of them. When I was exploring my map, I found 3 more woodland mansions. Thanks ps4 minecraft! R.I.P.
