Selena Quintanilla’s Death Story

On March 31st, 1995, Selena Quintanilla was killed by Yolanda Saldivar. In this video, we’re going to show why Selena was killed and how it actually happened. At the time of her death, Selena was 23 years old. Just recently she won her Grammy award, but Selena didn’t want to stop there. Inspired by the groove and style of Janet Jackson and Mariah Carrey, Selena was planning to make a crossover from Tejano music to more mainstream pop. These plans ended because of Selena Quintanilla’s death. Selena's death scene (video animation) is shown in this video.

She killed Selena simply because she wanted to prevent facing criminal charges for stealing money from her. She was also obsessed with Selena and was devastated at the fact that she was no longer going to be a part of her idol’s glamorous life. It was a “if I can’t have you, no one can” type of thing.

To those who think Selena took the ring off in the room, SHE DIDN’T. It had to be at the hotel lobby. After watching a documentary stating all the things she was carrying that she dropped during her run to the lobby I realized that if she had taken off the ring in the room this means somewhere between removing it and being shot she would have had to grab her brick size 90’s phone and keys to leave. First thing to fall would have been the ring because with a phone that size you can’t even close your fist. She dropped everything in both hands. She was in panic mode so nope I don’t believe she took off the ring in the room. Also, the scenario where Yolanda points the gun to her head and a fed up Selena just leaves? Nah. Not likely because after watching interviews especially one from one of her boutique employees Selena was really that caring and kind hearted that she even hired one of her employees after she arrived late to the job interview. Not only that but one time the employee was late to work and Selena greeted her with a kiss and hug telling her she was worried something had happened to her. She didn’t even warn her to not be late again she was just happy to see her being fine. Besides this, let’s not forget Selena drove Yolanda to the hospital same day she was murdered . AFTER being aware of Yolanda’s betrayal she still gave her the benefit of the doubt when she said she was raped in Mexico. So no. Selena didn’t even see the gun until last minute when she was about to leave with everything in both hands and gun already pointing at her. Either that or poor thing didn’t even get to see the gun at all and was just shot in the back.

Selena dropped the briefcase she was holding in her left hand on the grass right outside the room, then her car keys, which she was holding in her right hand- and cellphone (that was probably clipped to her bag), followed by her purse in the parking lot by the pool. She was also holding the egg ring in her right hand that she never got to hand back to Yolanda in the room. That leads me to believe Selena abruptly decided to leave the room- probably after seeing Yolanda still had the gun she had shown her weeks earlier. From all I’ve read it looks like Yolanda picked up the gun and threatened to kill herself in a final attempt to gain empathy from Selena, but Selena was done with her by that point and decided to leave- that probably pissed Yolanda off and when Selena turned, she took the gun from her head and decided to shot Selena instead. Ugh- How cowardly of Yolanda to wait until Selena had her back to her, and her hands full to shoot her in cold blood! 🤦🏻‍♂️🤬😭

Selena's death is a terribly sad story. She was so, so young. She had an amazing voice.

Yolanda’s behavior at the Days Inn and her trial should remind everyone of Yolanda’s guilt in Selena’s murder. It was premeditated, calculated, and intentional. She should not be given parole in 2025.
