I think it's more messed up that they now produce more MRI machines that can fit people that used to need hippo MRI machines.

I think it was a separate case where a patient was so large they had to use an elephant mri.

We should go back to that. Being overweight is a choice and not something that is defined by birth. If you're so over weight that you need special accommodations, like going to a zoo for medical purposes, you are unhealthy and need to lose that weight.

I'm 150 above what I should be(i should be 115, but I want to be 150), I lost 40 pounds in 2 years. Yeah it sucks and takes forever because I'm not losing weight quickly, but at least I know my weight could end my life sooner and by losing the weight that I have been I'm prolong my life. Which means I get more time with my daughter.

Loving yourself doesn't mean accepting your weight, it means accepting what you cant change and taking care of yourself so you don't die to diseases that can easily be avoided.

Why? I would rather die of embaressment than die of a falso or undiagnosos due to the equipment to being able to acomodate a large frame.
What is more fucked up?
The fact they used equipment inteded for larger animals in order to acomodate somebody who is big
Or
That they have stopped doing that because they don't want to risk hurtimg anyones feelings.
The fact that you use a ma hine for diagnosis inteddet for another species of larger frame doasn't make it less of a humane treatment.
