Installation | GlowShift 7 Color Series Triple Gauge Package For 3rd Gen 2014-2019 6.6 Duramax
Показать описание
This GlowShift video will show you how to install our 7 Color Series Triple Gauge Diesel Package into a 3rd Generation 2014-2019 Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra with a 6.6L Duramax.
DURAMAX GAUGE PACKAGES
This Duramax Gauge and Pod Package features a Diesel Boost Gauge, EGT Pyrometer Gauge, and Trans Temp Gauge, with the option of installing a Fuel Pressure Gauge. Each Silverado and Sierra Gauge Set also comes with a Duramax A-Pillar Gauge Pod made specifically to replace the factory A-pillar of any 3rd Generation Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra 2500HD & 3500HD. We selected this Gauge Package based on feedback from our Tech Team, who recommended these gauges and pod as being optimal for the 6.6 Duramax LML or L5P.
INSTALLING DURAMAX GAUGE SENSORS
We kick off the installation of this Duramax Gauge and Pod Set by installing the included Boost Line into the Intake Manifold, using the Boost Line Adapter which also comes with our Boost Gauge Kit. From there we move on to installing the EGT Probe by drilling into the exhaust manifold. Next, we demonstrate the process of adding the Transmission Temperature Sensor using a Transmission Test Port Adapter. Finally, we install the Fuel Pressure Sensor with a 3/8” Quick-Connect EFI Fuel Line Adapter.
FINISHING INSTALLATION
Once the sensors and fittings are in place we add all three gauges to the Duramax A-Pillar Gauge Pod, followed by the installation of the pod in place of the truck’s factory A-pillar. Next, we run the Power and Sensor Wires for each gauge using a 3 Gauge Wiring Kit. This video walks you through every detail of this process step-by-step and provides a complete breakdown of everything needed to install these 3rd Gen Duramax gauges and a gauge pod.
