Learn how to install a GlowShift 7 Color Series Analog Boost Gauge for cars and trucks with a turbo or supercharger and monitor pressure levels to avoid overboosting.

BOOST GAUGE KITS
Car and truck boost gauges are pressure gauges usually mounted on a dashboard, radio slot or driver’s side pillar which display boost pressure for an internal combustion engine. They are key to any vehicle running a turbo or supercharger. GlowShift has a variety of electronically and mechanically driven boost and boost vacuum gauges to monitor the boost and/or compression levels of your application.

7 COLOR GAUGE SERIES
7 Color Series Gauges come standard with a cutting-edge design that will enhance your vehicle’s interior. Depending on which version you select, you’ll have the choice of a black or white gauge dial with a magnified clear or tinted lens and illuminated red needle. Easily cycle through the 7 Solid Color Modes and 2 Color Cycles available for the analog LED display. Solid Colors include Blue, Green, Red, Teal, Yellow, Purple and White.

This was a really helpful video because I've got the same model WRX as the one they used, but really I just keep watching this because the presenter has such a soothing voice.

Great video! Only thing that’s silly to me is to disconnect the battery to cut a vacuum tube and reconnect it for all the electrical work.

You added a hose clamp onto the new boost gauge hose on the tee fitting after you cut the boost vacuum hose from the car. Shouldn't you have added 2 additional hose clamps to the original vacuum hose that was connected to the tee as well?

If you are installing multiple glowshift gauges (x3) can you consolidate all the yellows with the yellows, the reds with the reds, orange with orange and have them connected to one expandable circuit fuse per color? So basically all the yellows would be connected together and then inserted into 1 constant power? And so on and so forth with the other colors?

Why do you have to tap into a 12 V constant and a 12 V Ignition source for a mechanical gauge that makes no sense to me.
just dawned on me. the constant power is needed for the selected color scheme.

Why cutting the oem line? You can just remove it from the bpv add the tee, using the supply line in the kit and cut a little part that you connect to the tee in the bov, so you dont have to cut the oem line.

I want to use this on a Gen 6 Camaro with the 2.0. Guys usually use a throttle body spacer and run a barb off the throttle body spacer to a hose to the gauge. Will that method work as well with this gauge?

Where exactly did you run the vacuum line through the firewall into the cabin?

Im thinking of buying the 3 pod pillar mount for my 06 Subaru Impreza WRX STI.. Want a boost, volt, fuel pressure setup. Question is can I use the same constant hot, headlight, etc connection for all gauges?

What is the purpose of adding both a 12V and a 12V source at the ignition? Is it because the gauge has a memory function? I assume this is not necessary when the gauge does not have a memory function?
