If you get a red error, you more than likely missed a step or didn't follow it 100% I highly suggest you watch the whole video without skipping. At the end of the day this is an overclock, it should not cause any problems if done correctly but there is always a chance. Make sure you: Click the correct row, install service, filter on device, change to 1000, replug controller. If issues continue, proceed to reverse all the stuff you did prior then update windows (if you have one available), restart computer, etc. Note: You will need to redo this when you update windows. Windows will typically reset this.

Discovered and tried this method last night and I have to say it definitely worked for me. I am using a 3rd party PS4 (Xbox) wired controller and noticed a huge improvement in my controls. Thank you for the great advice!

For anyone wondering if this is error free, I warn you, the smallest mistake will cause a huge headache. Before restarting and restoring anything, try and switch USB ports. Do not waste your time.

instead it tells me when I click "filter on device" that there has been an error, and that it is impossible to verify the digital signature of the file or that there may be an unknown version of malware, and then it says that my controller will stop working afterwards you have clicked restart

Cant wait to try this out!! Im getting so tilted playing fifa and the controller is just acting weird.. sometimes it loses connection, and i sit damn close to my usb addapter on my pc.. Got a good pc but still i have a huge delay and my fifa players are just insanely high or some on the field.. This migh help. Thanks bud!

Hi! I make it work by disabling microsoft signature confirmation, but when I restart with normal confirmation the device appears red on hidusbf. Do I need to keep permanently disabled the signature confirmation to make it work? It seems risky

Waiua minute, PS4 controller with Bluetooth has less than 3ms delay? What Bluetooth receiver are you using. In my case the delay is far greater than that, and I was actually using USB cable connection instead (which I haven't actually done, because I hate cables), because I thought wired connection would have no delay.

be aware if you do this on an xbox 1 controller it might destroy it if this happens install service with a default rate without filter

The controll row became red after I installed the service and windows no longer detects my ds4. did I do something wrong ?
