That's a wonderful video thank you so much. I was sitting at the beach with my daughter and while she was playing I watched this video. I got home and went straight down the garage and used what I had learned from your video and my box is glueing up on the bench as we speak. It's so satisfying to make and I only have a small bench band saw. Thanks so much. This is really great.

That was a very good tutorial. I’m 76 and until just now have never seen how bandsaw boxes were made.
Very neat. Very simple.
I’m itching to buy a bandsaw and do some projects that a bandsaw makes possible.
Thanks for this!

Ciao Alex Non ho una bandella come la tua che è un gioiello, quindi spesso mi si rompono le lame, nella vita tutti gli hobisti dovrebbero trascorrere un periodo con un maestro come te. Un caro saluto da Roma.

I want to thank you for your tips how to setup for resawing. I have an old sears tilt head for years. After your tips this saw cut like never before. Thanks David Jones.

Nice! Free hand too, you must have done this before once or twice 😜

Any plans of making it to Sterling Heights store in Michigan for the 2024 tour?

I wish you'd shown the sanding. That's the part that messes the box up for me because I have to sand a lot to get the bandsaw marks off the box and make the wood smooth. I'm using relatively new Timberwolf blades, so I don't think that's the issue. I've made two so far, but I'm unhappy with how much space there is between the drawer and the shell.

Thank you for a great video . Can I ask what size blade you used ? I have been led to believe you need to switch between cutting curves and removing the front and back sections ?

Just curious, what blade are you using? I've bought the supposed "top" of the line and they struggle through thick pine. Yours cuts that wood effortlessly. Thanks

Is that a 1/4" blade that you are using?

You normally use the same blade for curves and back?

Great presentation!. What size blade did you use? I just got my first bandsaw with a 3/8" bland and changing a blade on it something I'm not looking forward to doing---for awhile. Thank you!

Does the drawer tolerance get messed up when pinching & glueing the entry cut back together on the shell?
