I don't know if you guys noticed but, in 1 st episode of season 1 it starts with Tony giving a ride to clay for his home in which clays says everything was so great before when Tony plays a old tape and in the ending of last episode of season 4 he says everything will be great and laughs .This shows us that how much he has moved on from everything . Also this was a very iconic scene because the series ended where it started .

thanks netflix for a series that imprinted my youth, caused some tears and dark moods, but in the end took me to this point in life where I'm now - and guess what - I am a buoyant and lucky person. 13 reasons why caught me when I was down, depressed and in a suicidal mood but it didn't kill me but made me stronger!💙

Will you survive high school? Will I survive? Because I know too many people who didn’t. In the past 2 years, 3 people who I loved have died and 2 2 other people I thought I hated also died, but I learnt that hate is too simple, Jessica’s right, hate is easy. Love and understanding are harder, but they are how we take care of each other, how we survive. My dad loves to tell me story about what he used to in story, his story usually involve chess club and obscure haircuts because the 80s where a strange strange time. But he always gets one thing right, he knows high school can hurt. That they can be hurtful, that there are days when that’s all it is. He once told me that he is living proof that you can survive. That you can get through it. He is living proof, and so am I, and all are all of you. The thing is for me, for us, that is class, this generation, high school is life or death. We show up every day not knowing if this is the day we die, if this is the day someone shows up with a gun and tries to kill us all, we practice what we will do if that happens. Life or death. I suffer from an anxiety and depression, but mostly anxiety. I sometimes think that all of us kids do I’m some way.

I don't get how Clay was able to graduate with going after everybody on Hannah's tapes, getting justice for Hannah during her trial, partnering up with Ani to be up in everybody's business, beating a murder charge, and literally being on the brink of insanity.
