How to AirPlay to a Mac

So what are the options if I'm not on that list? I wish to use my 2021 M1 16" (as a main) in tandem with my iMac 2017. Essentially I want to use my 5k 27" screen as a secondary monitor with my M1. Your help would be appreciated.

im facing an issue where i cant stream on the device using airplay. it doesn't let me stream amazon prime, netflix or anything else on it. does anyone know how to fix it. I only can hear audio, cant see any video.
