How many people has this happened to who DIDN'T contact the news?

Always check your medication before you leave the pharmacy.

My girl is a pharmacist with them. Their metrics on how much you need to do on your shift is ridiculous. In another state they just passed it where they cap metrics. CVS pushes so much work onto the techs too and under pay them.

You should read the bottle and see for yourself what u put in your body. Unless she is blind … she has no excuse 😒

“I became stiff and couldn’t move for several hours…”

Send some of those meds my way! I like to lie on my back while the woman does all the moving.

If you blindly take anything without confirming what it is, that's on you.

"She needed a generic form of Wellbutrin, Bupropion, but instead, she says she got Buspirone, a generic form of Valium."
- Their website article. Buspirone is not generic for V, so idk where they got that from.

I received the wrong prescription once....i took it back and moved on. The world is full of tragedies and we all make mistakes. I did check the label for identification and if didnt have my name on it. Ivr been vrry careful since thrn. Very. We are responsible for ourselves. Do not blindly trust, or assume the perfection of anyone else.

First of all, Buspirone IS NOT a generic for Valium. They are different classes of medications. Buspirone is the generic for Buspar. Try researching before you write an article.

That happened to me I was given a prescription of someone else that had the same first and last name of me, but the birth date was different from mine, I didn't catch it until I got home and started reading the info on bottle and I'm glad I did read it because had I taken the medicine it would have caused me to suffer a heart attack. I called CVS and told them that I was given someone else prescription, I took it back to them they looked it up and they said that it was a computer era that they would let there corporate office know about it. Every time I go to pick my meds now I double check before I leave the store.

I went to get my inhaler and they had me pay for it despite my insurance already being in the system with the change.

Should always look at the label to verify medication and dosage as well as safety information. Also recommend counting the pills before taking to be sure the count is right as well.

Happened to me. I freaked out when I got home and realized that they gave me another patient's medication. I called immediately upon that realization, .then went to the pharmacy straight away.
They didn't seem overly concerned whatsoever. Scary and weird experience.

LOL they say this rarely happens...B.S. You should see our pharamacy in this small northern ontario town...its pathetic! It boils down HERE to people not being trained properly...If someone is not trained properly at tim hortons or some place along that line its not really a big deal if you get tyhe wrong sandwhich or coffee has cream instead of milk...no biggy..but a pharmacy giving wrong meds should be held totally accountable and a slap on the wrist aint enough!!
