Never Get Stuck Again: A Simple Trick to Easily Remove Contact Lenses!

Dr. Hayden shows us how to tell if you have a contact lens stuck in your eye. He then shows us how to remove it without harming your eye. Getting a stuck contact lens out of your eye can be scary. Dr. Joel B. Hayden is a practicing optometrist and nutritionist in Mansfield, Massachusetts for over 25 years. Thank you so much for this. I’d been wearing Alcon Optic colors which was easy. But I also was prescribed the Biotrue dailies. I decided to try them today and first of all they are SOO much more comfortable!!

But I’ve been using this “trick” of popping them out by pressing down on my upper lash line. It worked with the thicker colored lens. But the Bio Trues are so soft and clear that I lost it!!

I could tell it was up there somewhere. The massaging my lid as you suggested helped me to locate it. And I was able to work it out. Whew. I guess I’ll go back to uncomfortable colored lenses until I get better that this. At least I can see when they are out. Lol

Thanks for the help. I usually pull my contacts put from the side but doing it towards the bottom of my eye was really helpful!
