Well. its quite amusing to watch these WDSF latin stars in 2023...! The event was actually held in 2017, 6 yrs from now....! Silvestri/Varadi couple now the Champ in the WDSF pro division, but back then they were only the new faces...!

Normally I wouldnt mind them winning at all, I think they dance incredibly well but honestly Gabriele and Anna's Jive....I saw like 5 coordination mistakes and I wasnt even looking for them... I don't think in this particular case that the numbers were fair

Armen is good technically but his dance is not emotional :( He dances like he's alone, and Svetlana is not a partner but his weapon for winning the battle. He probably intends to look high quality this way but for me he lacks the most important element of dancing - emotional connection with music and his partner.
Schmidt -Salikhova is way better, their samba was the only real samba in this competition!!

Their dancing may not have been as technically good as some others, I like the relaxed understated look of the Spanish couple. Particularly the man it looks more authentically Latin. Not so much in this event but in many others some males are so smothered in bling that it makes me think there's a completion going on with their partners for the dress or they must own a diamante warehouse. I doesn't appeal to me when the bling is over done on male and especially when there's no real style or creativity behind it..
