Since vehicles are such a "Low Margin" business; (Allegedly - Do Your Own Research, Blah, Blah, Blah), then Toyota should get the hell out of the vehicle making business and just sell this "Game Changing"; (Allegedly - Do Your Own Research, Blah, Blah, Blah), BATTERY to all the other loser Legacy Auto Makers for major profits.
WHEN/IF Toyota actually has this Game Changing Technology, then let them Put Up or Shut Up. I mean, they developed this amazing RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid that has consumers chomping at the bit to purchase, but they don't actually seem to be interested in producing it at any scale remoting close to satisfying demand.

8:48 500 km range and charging <10min, ok it sounds nice BUT: Battery size? capacity kWh? Cost? How powerful ev charger you need to charge this battery for less then 10 min? You need 100KW, 250KW or 500KW ev charger?

Isnt the 4680 from tesla solid?
1 million miles !! Toyota has no batterys of there ownes, they still have to look somwhere else, while tesla his manufactiring there owne batteries and continously perfectioning them !
Toyota still few years behind EV tecniques if you ask me, keep concentrating on hybrid for to long, mever tought EV could evolute that quick, all thanks to Elon Musk and his Tesla !!

Please talk about efficiency and power loss during charging and discharging of these batteries?

What will be the effect of time on these batteries? I mean will they deteriorate as soon as u start using them or the deterioration or loss of efficiency will start after a specific time of use?

What will happen when the life of the battery is completed? Are they recyclable? Will they pollute the environment if not recycled? Will the recycling of these batteries cost more than manufacturing them?

Why nobody is talking about the end of these batterie's life? How will we dispose them? How often we have to dispose them? How much part of them are reusable? Can you please help me solving these doubts?

Hate to say it but solid state doesn't scale the constituents are excruciatingly expensive don't believe the hype.

Crazy from Toyota! Pioneers in the hybrid game who have taken so long so get into EVs. They must be onto something with these SSBs if now is the time they are embarking on EV rather then hydrogen, which I think they were looking at instead on electricity
