A Vehicle equipped with all-solid-state batteries

In June 2020, we built a vehicle equipped with all-solid-state batteries, conducted test runs on a test course, and obtained driving data.

Based on that data, we continued to make improvements, and in August 2020, we obtained license plate registration for vehicles equipped with all-solid-state batteries and conducted test drives.

why the strange design, and not a familiar class A design for these car promotions? Tesla gained cus he showed his prototype as a luxury Sedan that fit in now a days normal life.

Toyota needs to learn from Tesla on vehicle design. Automakers deliberately making EV's look unappealing as to boost sales of ICE vehicles needs to be dealt with asap.

By now, 2 years later, we can clearly see Toyota's hot air claims.
They cannot even make standard batteries for hybrids in required quantities. Toyota's solid state batteries are forever 5 years in the future. The same way as fusion is always 40 years in the future.
