How to Create Dummy Variables in Excel | Regression Analysis

In this video, I’m going to show you how to create dummy variables in Microsoft excel!

The reason you would need dummy variables is when you want to do something like regression analysis, but your data set contains categorical, or non-numeric values.

Creating dummy variables allows you to assign a number value to a categorical item.
