My xaomi redmi 4X mobile has autentication problem since we had to install the fiber to disconnect the tv aerial. This mobile is only working with my daughter 's hot spot. Just wanna add up to someone in case all above solution doesn't work. You can still connect Wifi via QR Scanner.
-Borrow your relative/friend phone who has connected to the Wifi, go to the setting > Wifi & Network > Wi-Fi > Select the Wifi > and you can see the Wifi barcode.
-Now get your phone that have Authentication problem > find a scanner device within your phone > Scan the Wifi barcode.

Edit: Make sure you forget the Wifi first before scanning. That's all xD.

Thanks. Very informative. Well explained. But what if you have Factory Reset your Wi-Fi only tablet and then cannot even go past the connection stage, and so can't get to Settings either, due to Authentication Problems?

Factory data reset karne se sab kuch delete hi jata hain..
Phone main kuch nahi rahega including photos, messages, applications, contacts, email accounts and everything.
It becomes like a brand new phone.
What's the use then!
