None of these methods worked for me....what helped mine connect was unplugging literally every single cord that goes into my modem and router. Unplug the screw cable cord thingy too but do that first so you dont have to screw it back in while trying to power up the router and modem. Like this so others having this issue can see!

Thank you, bro. I started having this problem on a kindle fire after a long period of flawless wifi performance. The tablet would try to connect to a saved network but then stop. This started happening around the time I noticed an open xfinity network popping up on my list. So I connected to that then switched to my home network. Presto. Home connection works again. I have no idea why this happened or why your suggestion worked. But I have wifi on the Fire again. Many thanks.

ok the airplain method works. But what is causing this? My nvidia shield k1 always has this issue no matter which android is installed. I even wiped the whole device just to test it out and it still had wifi issue from time to time.

If this doesn't work for anyone, which for me it didn't. I used a wired Ethernet connection through my computer and logged into my router, I then went to my security settings and turned the fire wall off and then on again. Fixed the problem for me.

Reset router didn’t work

My phone connects to other wifi automatically, or when I enter a password.but when I am at home, it says authentication problem. and the only way I can get it to connect, is to push the wps button on the modem, while clicking on the "push wsp button" in my phones wifi settings .its a new phone to me, and I've never had this problem before .
any tips ? :) tried all the ones you showed in the video accept for the going to the website suggestion .
