Should I Push Through The Pain?

A very common question I get from people in pain is this. Now that I know it's TMS and not my body that's a problem, should I push through the pain to show my brain that I'm okay?

I have much pain in feet and legs and very tired. I push to much through the pain, the pain is getting much stronger. I think I have to listen much more to my body and be kinder to my body.

Yes! Great recommendation. Find your baseline and very, very gradually increase movement ...be patient. Curable has a lesson on visualizing movement triggers the same brain activity as the actual movement.

Fantastic video Dan and this really hit home. The visualization idea really resonates with me, and this goes for whatever is going on in my life or anyone else’s life❤️

Have you ever worked with people that had back surgery and then later realized they had TMS? And have you ever seen a person like that resume running?

Hi Dan, do you still think this? Because then recovery can take a whole long time because visualization doesn’t work for me well. Thanks in advance!!

Have you helped others that have tendonitis or carpal tunnel linked to TMS? I currently feel lots of pain in my wrist and hands area, even my joints in my fingers sometimes while on my keyboard and mouse.
