i like how the angels begin to subtly, then not so subtly warp reality around them. it's like they're so out of this world they literally begin to tear the fabric of reality apart if they're manifested for too long.

I like to imagine that biblically accurate angels are very socially awkward because they say "be not afraid" in an attempt to calm people down every single time they see a human.

It adds a whole other layer of horror when you realise that it's still "be not afraid"ing an airplane, implying that they aren't even saying it, it's just a warning alarm constantly playing like a buzzer. Also, why are they so squishy?

I went to a Private Catholic school and they would always show people with wings. Now that I see what they could look like I really would pass out a few times if I did see one
