I’m also getting the vibe of “women aren’t allowed to be funny”. She’s getting attention for being outspoken and hilarious, and some guys are not ok with that at all, no matter what the topic is.

People like this guy are the reason the first half of my life was lived in terror of doing something wrong, fun, immoral, or even witty. Thank you Prof for making it so freaking obvious!

The problem is, he's focusing on how everyone else is going to shame her, and how she "earned" that shame, how it will affect her (hypothetical) husband that she "did this to him", instead of realizing that hey, maybe we don't need to shame her, and maybe it's bad to shame people for otherwise innocuous things. Because he WANTS to shame her, and he has to justify his own bad behaviour.

What about the man who goes around asking young women "What's the one move in bed that makes a man go crazy every time?". Is "the devil" going to let him of the hook on that? Is "the devil" going to remind him for the rest of his life about this? Is his wife (or husband) going to get reminded about this? Or does "the devil" only go after women, via these Christians that speak for him, and blame them of what they do, but not men?

It's times like this when I'm glad I mostly got rid of my social media, so I don't have to see endless takes from strangers who are either overly mad or overly happy, at a woman who was drunk and asked a very personal question by a stranger in a street interview.

From someone who saw the girls response as just a joke. I was LMAO 😂😅!! I think her future husband will be a very happy man. I think Mr. I am hollier then thou is the one that has a problem.

Men say worse jokes like this all the time. It is called locker room talk...but some how women are always held to be at a higher moral ground. Then men complain that women are not funny or a prude. It's always something. We can't do anything without the approval of someone.
