According to Wikipedia, around 100-114k Iraqi and Kurdish troops combined fought against roughly 6-12k terrorists in the Battle of Mosul from 2016 to 2017. Nearly all terrorists were killed without surrendering. Crazy how such small number of terrorists fought against so many and held out for nearly a year. Guess that's the power of an ideology.

Just to clarify for the Western world, it seems that your image of Shiites has been greatly distorted. The information is that approximately 80% of the forces that fought ISIS at that time were Shiites. These are all the real reasons why ISIS was 15 km away from my city. 😅We still hoped to win.

Just to point out something. Most of the "100k" Iraqi troops were not in Mosul at any point. This the number of all Iraqi troops that were ready to be deployed in the operation. However the number of Iraqi troops fighting in Mosul at one point didn't exceed 6, 000. So, no ISIS terrorists were not fighting a much larger forces nor they were outnumbered, they simply used human shields to hide behind and still ended up wearing women clothes trying flee. Pathetic fighters.
