Some people have challenged the Glacier Ice Impact Hypothesis by claiming that the aerodynamic forces encountered during the launch and re-entry portions of the ballistic trajectories would disintegrate the ice boulders. This presentation examines what happens when the ice boulders are launched during the excavation stage of an extraterrestrial impact on an ice sheet.

What if there 2 impacts, one hitting further northwest melting the main body of the ice sheet causing huge floods and the second impact hits the the tidal wave of boulders from across canada at the leading edge of this mass of flood and those are what get launched across the mountains?

What density did you assign to the comet? I modeled general impacts on ice with comets of smaller diameters, 0.5 to 1 km eith densities slightly greater than that of ice up to the density of nickel iron meteorites. Of course, denser bolides created greater yields. The higher energy impacts will immediately not just vaporize but ionize the ice in the area of the impact and ionic oxygen and hydrogen, essentially rocket fuel, would transmit energy into and under the ice firther fragmenting and, propelling ice boulders, when the ions recombine in an hypergolic reaction. The impact temperature would be so incredibly hot that the physical shock wave would be supplemented by a wave of plasma and steam propagating through kilometers of fissures and fractures generated within the ice. And after it got done raining ice boulders the size of office buildings, the amount of water vapor pumped into the atmosphere would immediately begin to precipitate out and it would rain and snow for a very long time.
