I like how Barry leaves stove hobs on when he doesn't need them, but turns off the pre-heated oven when he actually needs it.

I love the genuine look of concern from Jamie when Barry chopped himself. It's great to see the moments that prove they are really good friends.

Love the anxiety dance they both did while trying to figure out what to make. 🤣

Loving the fact that regardless of chef level, James still has as much panic as Baz does.

I love how Mike's got stuff on his face and while everyone is giggling, Mama Ebbers is ripping out a paper towel for him.

I'd love to see a Pass It On with the three normals, while the two chefs judge. Just an idea...

The panic with the parmesan/coffee crisps was gold!

"I'm not here to do what Barry would do:" proceeds to also do a fish fingers and custard inspired dish.

That vanilla mayo does look interesting. Really sorry for that parmesan that didn't made it to Barry's dish. And to whoever will scrap the heck out of it from the tray.

Lol my daughter fixed herself something for lunch the other day and left the hob on I came in after her and the first thing out of my mouth was "Ok Barry" and she knew exactly what I was talking about and what she had done!

As much as I sit here and laugh at everyone's failure, I know deep down that I wouldn't even get past thinking of a dish in three minutes. Remind me never to go on a cooking show.

Bread and eggs, I'd make French toast with some fruit on top

Barry trying to get the Parmesan crisps off the tray in a rush was the funniest thing I’ve seen all week! 😂

Do you think Barry realizes you don’t actually have to add yourself into the dish.

I'M HERE EARLY TO SUGGEST THIS:
Instead of the normals trying to recreate a chef dish based solely on taste, what if one chef tries to recreate a normal dish based on taste or smell?

Challenge suggestion: "Remote Control"
Make two pairs (one normal+one chef in each). The normal is in the kitchen, the chef is in another room and can't see what happens in the kitchen. The pair communicate using some sort of "voice chat" (walkie talkie, phone, skype or similar). The final normal is the judge.
The chefs role is telling the normal what actions to take (without saying what the he is aiming for).
The normal don't know what they are making and has to follow what the chef tells them to do.

Another Challenge that would be interesting is a "Pass it along" Duel. Still Pairs of two but using Pass it along rules and either both the chef and normal gets two turns or possibly the normal gets three turns in which case they go normal, chef, normal, chef, normal.

Possible Vatiations on the "Remote Control":
Include a Mystery box, The normal opens the "box" and tells the chef the ingredients (or what he thinks they are) and the chef gets a few minutes to decide what to make.

Make communication even harder, (have two ideas here and both give the normals decisions while cooking more weight)
Fist way is to have the Voice Chat only be available for some of the time (5 min on, 5 min of looped maybe)

Second is to have the communications be one way (think walkie talkie) but switching every 2-5 min, so first the chef can talk but the normal can't answer and then the normal can talk but the chef can't answer (the chef would use his time to say what needs to be done and ask questions abut how it is going (to get a better idea of what is happening in the kitchen) the normal would use his time to answer the questions the chef stated and then basicly say what he is doing)
Variation of this second is that the normal can always be heard but the chefs mic is only on for short intervals of time (possibly the chef can choose when to activate the mic and after which the mic gets a "Cool down" before it can be activated again)

I loved Ben's safety tip. "Always flip away from you. It doesn't splash you, it splashes the camera man." LOL

James is everything I want in a man. He’s hugely talented. Sweet. Lovely. Handsome. Tall and a ginger. Love him. Love the channel.
