7:05 Actually, Mojang added a new feature in the 21w37a snapshot that allows you to "shear" vines and stop their growth (the technical side is simply just setting the block's age to 25, this works on all vines types and kelp)

I like how this video, unlike a lot I’ve seen, cherry-picks the features that actually fit with vanilla, rather than just saying “Oh Quark is vanilla+, all the features are perfectly vanilla, right?”

What I really desperately want in Minecraft is a "wander" mechanic for cats and dogs. Right now either they follow you, or they sit motionless; it'd be neat to have a third version where they would wander freely in, say, a 32x32 square area around where you ordered them to "wander". That way you could have some ambience of a couple of cats exploring your structure.

Alternative: The default chest texture is what you get when you use mixed wood, and when you use a single type of wood you get one for each wood type

4:05 an idea my friend and I thought of was " wither bone meal " basically if wither skeletons dropped their own wither bones, or something, then it could turn into wither bone meal that can grow nether wart and used on like " warped" nether rack to spread to other nether rack blocks like moss

It amazes me how some the smallest things Java players want bedrock players have and vice versa

I want to be able to enchant horse armor. It makes no sense that you can't. I wanna ride my Frostwalker and Thorns horse over the oceans! Or at least stop sinking into every stream we try to cross!

Also, I would love to be able to apply wax to redstone. You can wax copper to keep it from oxidizing, let us waterproof our redstone with wax!

In bedrock, you can change colors of sign text and anything else easy, just hold alt and press 0167 on pc. it gets you this character, §, and if you mix it with a number, say 4, you get colored text.

The vine growth trick is coming with 1.18, but rather than flint and steel, it's being done with shears.

Right clicking the tip of a constantly growing plant like glowberries, or vines with shears will stop it's growth.

I think shears are the better call anyway, less likely to misclick and burn down your nice build.

Oh my god. Those enchantment book redesigns are GORGEOUS
In Minecraft I’d love to see an implementation of “empty bookshelves”, something like the regular bookshelves except the player can use them to store enchanted books, regular books, and book and quills at their own desire. I think it’d make it a lot easier to sort through enchants, kinda like a mini library :D
