You should have covered the myth where pickaxes and axes lose durability faster when they're used to break blocks that they're not efficient at breaking. I've believed that for years now, and only just recently discovered I was wrong about that. I think it comes from the concept that swords take 2 durability when used to break blocks.

That's wrong. Haste increases your attack speed by 10% per level of Haste (which decreases the cooldown time of attacks, letting you attack with full damage faster than before).
I've just now confirmed this in Minecraft: Java Edition 1.15.2, by using chat commands to give myself level 10 of Haste, seeing that the cooldown time now takes roughly half as long as without Haste.
